Myanmar

The time had finally come to leave Thailand.  My work contract was over, my apartment needed emptied, and I had to leave the country because my visa was about to expire.  I thought long and hard about where I should go, I only had about a month before my flight back to the states.  I had one week to explore a nearby country before meeting up with friends to explore more of Thailand.

In the end I choose Myanmar, formerly known as Burma.  I've been told that you can do Siem Rep in a couple days, Vietnam you need at least a few weeks, and Laos was a hit or miss. Myanmar had opened their borders not that long ago and I felt like it was less spoiled by tourists.

Next step, what the hell do you do in Myanmar?  Where to go and what to see.  After numerous searches and blog research I narrowed down the cities to Mandalay, Bagan and Inle Lake.  And here we go....
